Alex needs to meet people or else she's gonna be consumed into the world of animals and will never see the light of day. =D Not that's a bad thing but come on... talking to inanimate objects can't be good! =)
So anyone is welcome to join in this roleplay .. it doesn't matter guys or girls she won't bite .. to hard >.o =P
==============================================
Alex seemed to be taking in the end of the days chores, she took out a bit of tack that needed a good cleaning that was of her own. She never let anyone else touch it, she was very picky about this. So as she took a great deal of attention to it, she sit quietly within the barns confounds.
What a hectic day it had been, many things to do for this young animal doctor. It was a good oppurtunity for anyone else around to meet her, she hadn't really become friendly with anyone yet in her new place of work.

Haleigh strolled into her barn through the indoor arena door, carrying a jolly ball with half a rope attached. She was muttering something under her breath, staring at the ground as she walked between the two rows of stalls. She was wearing a loose black hoodie, with the hood pulled up over her ears, and looked cold -- winter nights were approaching, after all. It wasn't long until she spied the new veterinarian working on some unfamiliar tack.
Leigh stopped a few feet away. "Hey, Alex," She greeted, her voice a little hoarse and raspy. A long day of yelling at Sasha, perhaps? "How are things?"

Alex looked up immediately seeing the owner of the farm, she gave a cheerful grin as a silent greeting. "I'm not t'bad yerself?", her Scottish accent had yet to leave her - some might say it never will. She continued mindlessly cleaning up her tack, while leaning back into the wall some to have a good look at her boss. "Just cleanin' up this thar tack ya see, been workin' hard all day long.", she was friendly no doubt about that.
Shortly afterwards Alex would place her tools down, placing a leg over the other as she seemed to carry out her convesation.

Leigh nodded her head once, her entire hoodie shifting with the motion. "Good, good." She watched the human's hands work, her eyes glazing over. After a moment, she shook her head, blinking rapidly. "Mmmhm, nothing like workin' the leather after a long day."
Haleigh took a step back, the click of her heel echoing in the quiet barn. She leaned against the front of the stall, stuffing her paws in her front pocket as she engaged in conversation. "So, are you enjoying work here so far?"

Alex gave a firm nod, " 'Course I am! I love takin' care of 'em horses ya know. And my own 'ave seemed to adjust just fine.". After a moment of scanning the barn, her eyes diverged back to Leigh. "So hows life in the fast line?", she was obviously talking about the Thoroughbreds. She had yet to experience the joy of her labors with her horses, she had only just got all three of them. Each seemed increasingly lovely as the next, so she hoped great things from them.
As she waited in silence, her hands would seem to meddle quietly in her pockets. An old habit of just needing to get her talent occupied, talent being surgery.
