A furre by the name of Zenthus posted this on the Furc forums and I wanted to share it with all of you because it instantaneously made me think of the state of horse roleplay today.
Ditch the "vet syndrome" I went to one chatroom for eight years. By the eighth year, all everyone ever did was moan about noobs and sit around a mostly vacated system. The place might as well have grown tumbleweeds. The elitism that spawns from vet syndrome can stifle any chat or dream. Like said, we were all noobs, and we're all going to leave some time. We need fresh blood. Teach them. Keep the place alive. The old days weren't that good. In any system. Every time has its ups and downs, stop thinking about the past and live for now.
