Oats: (Crushed) Energy giving and contains fiber, only to be fed to horses in hard work. Can make horses over-excitable, not recommended for ponies.
Corn: A good source of energy and fat, similar to oats or barley.
Barley: (Crushed) Energy giving and fattening. Does not make horses as excitable as oats, but some horses are allergic to it.
Bran: High in fiber and absorbs water. When mixed with boiling water to make a bran mash, it acts as a laxative. Has a low calcium/high phosphorus ratio, which is undesirable for horses -- should be fed in small quantities.
Complete Feed Pellets: Generic, brand-name horse pellets; a concoction of different grains. A cheap alternative to Blue Seal products.
Soaked Beet Pulp: (Replaced daily.) High in fiber, succulent, and tasty, almost all horses enjoy it.
