TREC presents the 2nd Annual Autumn Jumping Extravaganza! I've decided to postpone it, as many people said they would be able to make it if the date was better.
Rules
1. A rider may only ride two horses in the entire competition.
2. Any one PERSON(as in living, breathing, human being sitting at their computer playing Furcadia) may play:
--One horse
and/or
--One rider.
3. Each horse will only perform ONCE. Second chances are not given.
4. If you knock a bar, move on to the next jump. If you refuse, back up a step or two and try again.
5. Run-outs(running past an obstacle) will be counted as a fault!
6. Each fault is worth 5 points. That's 5 points for every bar dropped, 5 points for every refusal, 5 points for every run-out.
7. Skipping a jump or otherwise taking another obstacle out of order is an automatic disqualification.
8. No one other than the judge will be allowed on the course, the only exception being the horse and rider as it is competing.
9. Arguing with the judge, questioning the time given, or otherwise disrupting the competition is grounds for ejection and/or disqualification from the competition.
10. Last minute entries will not be accepted. All competitors must be registered before 9:00AM FST on the day of the show.
How it Works
The judge will brief the RIDERS ONLY on the order in which the jumps are taken. This is also published on a note outside the ring. Everyone will be allowed to walk the course for about fifteen minutes prior to the first horse starting. The horse, rider, and judge are the only ones allowed to be on the course during the run. The rider may signal to the horse where to go through avatar placement only. If you say or pose anything on the course, you will be eliminated. This bears repeating. If EITHER PARTICIPANT SAYS OR POSES ANYTHING, the result is an immediate elimination.
All teams will complete the course once and then be placed based on a time plus faults basis.
Entries
1. Famished (Wyndlily Sharphowl) - Dutch Warmblood
2. Guts or Glory (Blood Rose Farms/Quinn Adare) - Thoroughbred
3. Applause (Wyndlily Sharphowl) - Trakehner
