8:30PM FST.
General Rules:
-No obnoxious colors. That's a given!
-Horses, livestock, cats, and dogs are all welcome to be auctioned off.
-Only furres may bid.
-Staff starts with $100,000; non-staff starts with $75,000.
-Bids must increase in no less than $1,000 at a time.
-Feel free to auction off multiple alts.
-If you bid over the amount you have in your 'account', you will promptly be removed from the auction and you will no longer be allowed to bid.
When you're auctioning yourself off, it REALLY helps to have a good description. Furres will click on you in the holding pen and might make their minds up about you before you even make it to the stage. When your name is called, come up to the pen behind the auctioneers and make your post. PLEASE HAVE THIS POST READY IN A NOTEPAD DOCUMENT. We will -not- wait more than 30 seconds for you to make your post; it wastes time and gets people agitated. At the end of your post, have in parenthesis your breed, age, level of training, and starting price -- that way people can see the 'quick facts' about you. After giving people a moment or so to read your post, the bidding will begin!
As one last night, it is considered very rude to make a fuss after you've been auctioned off. If you didn't find an owner -- hey, there's always some other auction, right? If you don't like the person who purchased you, take it to whisper or keep your mouth shut until the auction is over. Interrupting the auction by whining about your personal outcome just annoys everyone else.
If you've been sold, please either sit with your new owner (if there's a lot of room) or elsewhere in the dream -- it gets very crowded during an auction.
