IC Experience: Kal got her first horse at the age of five, and ever since then she's been riding and competing in shows. She's also worked at several other barns, and was also co-owner of Blood Rose Farms.

Kalmia was searching through the group of individual turn-outs, mostly trying to find her new colt. Sure, Kal was very well aware about this one's attitude, but she always liked a challenge. ..Kind of. She'd dragged a lead rope along with her, but right now she didn't know if it would really be of any use. For now all she wanted to do was actually get near the colt. Upon finding the equine, Kal slung the lead along the top of the fence, then she leaned against the gait and stared. "Heyy, yoouu."

Species: "furry" Batwinged, though.

IC Experience: Ever has been working with horses her whole life, since her father runned a ranch. She grew up with the wonderful presence of calm horses, and she got 'addicted' to riding.
OOC Experience: I have been on horseback riding for about four years now, I know 'bout grooming, riding and cleaning stalls. So don't worry. ^^;

Sample 1-Paragraph Roleplaying Post: Ever runned across the pasture as fast as she could. She had been looking forward to this day forever, her first day on a new stable. Excited glance was placed on facials, millions of thoughts shot through her head, 'Will the horses like me?', 'What if I screw up!?' and several other things. The first sounds of horses we're tracked by her big, cat-like ears. Her hand moved through her hair when she finally arrived in the boarding stalls, the horses' heads stuck out of the stands and seemed to look at her curiously, well. They knew no different way.

A few minutes later she discovered the grooming brushes, which were nicely put in a box. Ever walked closer to a white mare, she reached for the nose of this animal and started to rub it gently. The mare didnt care alot, at least, untill Ever opened the door and came into her stand. The mare started snorting, and kicked against the back of the stand. Ever put her hands up to protect herself. "Easy girl! Easy!" When Ever escaped from the furious mare, a grin appeared on her face, even a wide one, it was spread all over! "I am keeping an eye on you!"

Hours Generally Available Online: When school ends, I mostly go eat something and jump behind the computer after that. In the weekends I can stay longer but my father might kill the internet so I go do something outside. x)
Why We Should Hire You: Well, because I think I have experience.. and you are looking for decent staff. So here I am people! Up for the grabs.

Furcadia Name: Chloe Phillips
Character's Full Name: Chloe Olivia Phillips
IC Age: Twenty-Four
Species: Human

IC Experience: I have worked here on a few different alt's, but I can't remember the names of them. All of them were groom's and I had been accepted every time I applied to be one. But this is about Chloe, not previous alts.

Chloe had attended a riding school as she was growing up, and owned two different horses and boarded them there. They taught their students everything to their advantage that involved equines. She was best at grooming, but she could ride as well. Chloe groomed the school's horses after-school every Tuesday and Thursday and did this until she started High School, then she had sold off one of her horses and stopped attending the school. Of course she visited the stable that she boarded her horse, Michigan. They participated in shows, and Chloe started private lessons when she reached the age of fifteen.
OOC Experience: I have been attending riding lessons for three and a half years, I had recently stopped lessons because of school and lack of time from school event's such as, track and field meets. In that time, I had learned to groom, ride, and prepare horses for shows. When I had begun lesson's I was about 11 years old and now I am 14 almost 15. I hope to purchase my own horse when I get permission to apply for a part-time job, which will most likely happen when I turn 15. My hours on Furcadia will vary then, and I might have to organize a different schedule for my 'job' on Chloe. Until then, I hope to be a part of TREC's team!
Character's Current Furcadia Description: The smell of clovers was a sweet scent, but on this neck, it was broad and didn't intend to hide. Cinnamon strands chiefly covered her shoulders, and some hairs cascaded with her back-side, all of it pin-straight. Eyes were a shocking 'china doll' color, a dark blue. The flawless face was not real, but a mask of foundation that blended perfectly into her facial features which made her look rather appealing. Lips were a Rosy pink color which shown that they were moisturized and no where near being chapped. A jade blouse was currently worn on her chest and had a similar 'V' shape to the front of it. Yes, it did cut down a little low, but not to much. Of course her arms showed more than anything, with the exception of a few freckles here and there. Both of her arms were somewhat thick at the upper sections, where the muscles could be visible while her wrist's shown the skinny side of her. Beige breeches crawled up her legs and puffed a bit from the visible muscles in her legs. At her knee caps, a pair of ebony riding boots were worn from the knee's down. Both boots were neatly polished, almost every day. To top that off--spurs clung to either heel, clinking as she walked. A regular equestrian, no?..
Sample 1-Paragraph Roleplaying Post: There was something mysteriously unsetting about this woman. Was it that she was new or something ? Chloe groaned as she started into the barn, her footsteps were heavy and uneasy. She had gotten no sleep from the previous night and became rather restless. Cinnamon hair chiefly covered her shoulders, some strands would fall behind her back. It was rather early, the night sky was still visible outside and the moon hung in the sky. Blue eyes, focused in on the equus that stand there in their stalls. Her current assignment was a chestnut stallion, Buffalo. She had heard that he was a little feisty bugger from some other workers at Top Rail. Aye, she was determined to get that task settled and move on. Ruffling her messy brown hair as she walked down the aisle. He wipped the sleepy crusties from her eyes and yawned. Her tired, zombie like foot steps took her to Buffalo's stall. There he would stand, a colossal looking beast with dreary looking eyes. Chloe stood there for a minute, then unlatched the lock to the stall and slid the door open. She unhooked the rope that had been latched to the wall to keep the stallion from leaving his stall, unattended.

She already held her supplies in a box, which was held by her left hand. Soon she set that down by herself and latched up the rope again and closed the stall's door. Soon she held out a hand to allow the stallion to sniff it. Soon Buffalo inhaled the scent of the girl's hand, but didn't find her too amusing. Chloe could tell this when the stallion started to pace in his stall which caused a lot of ruckus. "Great..." she moaned. Hands would grab the lead rope which was hung on a hook outside the stall, she soon slung it on her shoulder and attempted to calm the beast down. Of course, this didn't work out easily. Buffalo would soon start kicking out at the woman, and he soon succeeded in knocking Chloe on her butt. This would knock the wind out of her so, she would be holding her stomach while the stallion continued with his flitting. Five minutes had passed and she pushed off the ground with her hands, then dusted her butt off. Aye, fabulous. Chloe would cross her arms and look at the chestnut stallion. No, she wasn't to give up, she was just merely pondering of a plan on how to calm him down. Seconds, minutes passed and the stag settled finally. Buff stood on the other side of the stall from Chloe. His face drooping down. "Well now, its about time," her voice spat out mockingly. Chloe would approach the stallion slowly, soon she stood next to him. Hand would come up to rub his neck then clip the lead to his poorly built halter.

After doing so; Chloe would snap the lead onto a clasp that hung from the wall. Now to tend to his coat. The box would be opened shortly after she hooked him up. She grabbed a rubber curry and moved it over his body in a circular motion. Only the upper body was to be done first, the legs would be after. Once she had finished the left side, her hand would be placed on his rump as she walked around Buff's rump and around to his right side. Then the same was done to his right side. Once she returned to her grooming box she placed the item back into it then, grabbed a dandy brush. Chloe would approach the stallion's left side once more. Flicking the brush along his coat then bringing it up, sorta like sweeping the floor. Doing the same for his right side. The same was done as before, returning to the box and grabbing a new item; this time it was a body brush. Chloe began to skim over his coat looking for traces of left-over dirt. As she did so, she smoothed his coat out while she looked. After that was done, she picked up a hoof pick and examined Buffalo's hooves in case it was needed to clean. Nope, everything was fine and dandy. Thankfully some one had made her job a little better, since some things were already done; mane, tail, and hooves. Whoever it was, she loved them dearly. Well... not like that. She would pick up a clean towel then run it over Buff's coat.

TA DA! All done. She picked up her stuff then unclasped the stallion and hung up the lead rope outside his stall. She blew a kiss to Buffalo and started walking down the aisle once more, now to the tack room to place his stuff in there until needed for use this day. She walked outside for some fresh air and a stretch. The sky above the stable was rather gorgeous now that it was morning and quite early. Clouds would float around the sky, but not dark clouds, oh no. Beautiful white clouds. "A lovely day for they horses," she'd speak to herself. And it was...

Hours Generally Available Online: Every week, the hours range from 1-4 hours Monday-Friday, but Wednesday's are 5-6 hours. Of course, the same will happen for weekends. Every other weekend, hours will be mostly all day.

Why are the hours so weird? Well, my mom has different rule's for her house and I'm usually allowed to be on the computer all day without her having a problem, this will occur every other weekend. Unlike my dad, he will only allow me on for 1-4 hours generally through the week and on weekends. It's confusing, I know.
Why We Should Hire You: Chloe, is a hard worker as it says above. She will not give up on any goal until it has been completed, or it is impossible to continue. You will never see her slack off on a job unless, she is off hours. Sure she'll goof around with people to cheer them up, but never enough to get them or herself off task. She is determined to complete things. If she is sick and only has a brief cold, she'll most likely show for work. Other than that, there should be no problems.
